Belfair in Bluffton, SC, part of Troon, is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead the Bistro and deliver exceptional dining experiences for members and guests. This full-time role emphasizes team development, operational excellence, and hospitality culture across daily dining operations.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food and beverage management experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest and member experiences.
• Ability to lead by example, develop associates, and hold team members accountable to established standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, inventory controls, and food safety standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.
• Food safety certification and alcohol service certification, as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate Bistro associates, fostering a positive, accountable, and service-oriented team culture.
• Ensure exceptional, personalized service while building strong relationships with members and their guests.
• Oversee daily Bistro operations, including opening and closing procedures, floor coverage, reservations, service flow, and overall restaurant readiness.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, training, scheduling, and managing staffing levels to support business-needs.
• Ensure associates understand and consistently deliver Belfair's hospitality standards, service expectations, and culture.
• Partner with the culinary team to coordinate service, menu execution, food quality, presentation, and timely delivery.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, food safety, sanitation, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Work closely with culinary leadership and other department managers to ensure seamless operations and a consistent member experience.
• Respond professionally to member feedback, service concerns, and associate issues, taking ownership of solutions and following through.
• Assist with payroll and timecard approvals, reporting, inventory controls, and other operational duties as needed.
