Job summary

Belfair, a premier private community near Hilton Head, SC, is seeking a driven Full-Time Server to join its hospitality-focused team managed by Troon. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience, with shifts ending by 9–10 PM.

Training, meals, and a comprehensive benefits package are provided. Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong service standards, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Must meet state age requirements for alcohol service.
• Alcohol server certification required within 30 days of hire; certification costs covered by Belfair.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations on food and beverage selections.
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and service standards.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring orders are accurate and properly presented.
• Monitor tables, anticipate guest needs, and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set dining areas.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Participate in pre-shift briefings and departmental meetings.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless service.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support departmental operations.

Overview

As a Server at Belfair, you will play an important role in creating memorable dining experiences through attentive, personalized service. The ideal candidate is personable, energetic, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality in a team-oriented environment.
