Job summary

JL Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a Bistro Attendant to provide friendly, efficient food and beverage service for hotel guests. You will take orders, prepare items, serve drinks, handle payments, and keep the Bistro area clean and welcoming.

The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, energetic, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, Bistro, barista, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale system or willingness to learn.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet age/certification/licensing requirements for serving alcohol when required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Prepare coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other drinks.
• Serve alcoholic beverages when applicable and in compliance with policies and laws.
• Process payments accurately (cash, card, room charges).
• Operate POS system and manage guest checks.
