Job summary

Meyer Jabara Hotels in Bethlehem, PA, is seeking a friendly Bistro Attendant to prepare and serve breakfast, assist guests, and keep the Bistro area clean and welcoming. You will use Toast POS, handle various payment methods, and collaborate with Front Desk and Housekeeping to ensure a positive guest experience.

No prior hotel or Bistro experience is required; we train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, a friendly personality, and passion for guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Previous experience using Toast POS preferred but not required.
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly smile and provide outstanding customer service.
• Prepare and serve breakfast items and beverages according to Marriott standards.
• Operate the Toast POS system and process transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, card, mobile, and room charges per hotel policies.
• Balance and reconcile sales at shift end.
• Maintain a clean, organized Bistro environment.
• Stock food, beverages, and supplies; ensure sanitation and safety.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of breakfast service.
