Job summary

McKibbon Hospitality is seeking a Bistro Attendant to take orders, prepare and serve food and beverages, and maintain a welcoming dining area. The role includes barista duties, breakfast items, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout shifts.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of service experience, a flexible schedule, knowledge of alcohol guidelines, and a commitment to safety and hospitality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience as a server, barista, cook, or attendant in a similar setting.
• Flexible schedule including shift work, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of state and local guidelines regarding service of alcohol.
• Computational skills to process guest payments.
• Course work or certification/education in restaurant or business field are highly desired.
• Food safety certification and/or alcohol service training recommended.
• Ability to lift trays weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to create an energized bar atmosphere through friendly and personalized service.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and adjust accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and ensure they feel valued.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu and offer suggestions.
• Serve guests’ orders in line with brand standards.
• Maintain adequate supplies of clean dishware.
• Carry food, dishes, trays, and silverware to serving counters.
• Clear dirty dishes and run them through the dishwasher.
• Clean counters, shelves, and equipment in pantry or breakfast area.
• Address spills, broken items, and trash as needed.
• Mop or vacuum floors.
• Replenish beverages, ice, and condiments.
