The Birmingham Facilities Coordinator will provide a full range of administrative and/or program support to a business unit or program. The Birmingham Facilities Coordinator will perform various administrative tasks, including some or all of the following: sorting and distributing mail, answering phones, organizing and maintaining files, purchasing, maintaining equipment, and working with vendors. They will schedule and coordinate logistics of meetings, as well as be present to assist with setup/breakdown and assistance during the meetings. They may also assist with the coordination of special events. The Coordinator may communicate on behalf of the supervisor with internal and external sources, including staff, partners, government officials and donors. They may handle inquiries about program activities and assist in the development of program materials and correspondence. They will use available systems and resources to maintain and track data and produce reports as needed. They will provide other staff with information they need to make decisions and solve problems. The Coordinator may also have accounts payable and invoicing responsibilities. They will have frequent interaction with staff throughout the program and in other Conservancy offices, and with vendors.

Associates Degree plus 1-year experience or equivalent combination.
This position requires a valid driver's license and compliance with TNC's Auto Safety Program . Employees may not drive Conservancy‑owned/leased vehicles, rental cars, or personal vehicles on behalf of the Conservancy if considered "high risk drivers." Employment in this position will be contingent upon completion of a Vehicle Use Agreement, which may include a review of the prospective employee's motor vehicle record.
The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $23.00 - $25.00 per hour. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges.
