Qualifications

• Master's in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry or related major with relevant courses.
• Ability to integrate technology into course delivery.
• Ability to engage students in a belonging, multicultural setting.
• Commitment to promoting belonging, inclusion, and multicultural competence.
• Access to a personal computer with antivirus protection and internet access outside campus.
• MC email account and access to the learning platform and faculty communications tools.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without a sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned lecture and/or laboratory courses in the biotechnology discipline.
• Plan, prepare (syllabi, assessments, etc.) and coordinate classroom instruction.
• Teach a varied schedule of courses including daytime, evening, weekend, and accelerated sections.
• Opportunities may exist to teach summer session classes.
• Follow guidelines from department course coordinators to ensure content coverage across sections.
• Administer, grade and provide feedback in a timely manner to monitor student progress.
• Adhere to and enforce laboratory safety regulations.
• Meet deadlines to submit grades via an electronic information management system.
