Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline.
• Experience teaching introductory chemistry, general chemistry or organic chemistry.
• Commitment to promoting belonging, inclusion and multicultural competence.
• Access to a personal computer with virus protection and internet access; college provides resources if needed.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned lecture, discussion and/or laboratory courses in chemistry.
• Teach a varied schedule of courses including daytime, evening, weekend and accelerated sections.
• Follow guidelines from department course coordinators to ensure consistent content coverage and student experience across sections.
• Administer, grade and provide feedback to students in a timely manner.
• Meet established deadlines to submit student mid-term and final grades.
