Job summary

Kennedy Bond is seeking a Vice President of Investor Relations, Corporate & Scientific Communications on a confidential basis in San Francisco. The role demands deep biotech IR experience and the ability to translate complex science into clear investor messaging.

The successful candidate will partner with the executive team and R&D leaders to shape external narrative, own earnings materials, conferences, and 1:1 investor interactions with credibility and independence.

Qualifications

• Significant biotech Investor Relations experience
• Strong Corporate Communications capability
• Exceptional scientific fluency, which is the key differentiator
• Able to engage independently with highly technical investors and analysts
• Experience translating complex scientific and clinical data into clear, compelling messaging
• Comfortable owning investor presentations, earnings preparation, conferences and 1:1 investor interactions
• Hands-on operator who is comfortable personally developing materials and messaging
• Scientific training strongly preferred, with a PhD advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities

• Own investor materials and messaging across IR, corporate and scientific communications
• Lead earnings preparation and key conference presentations
• Engage with investors and analysts 1:1 to articulate the company narrative
• Collaborate with executive and R&D leadership to shape external messaging
• Develop clear, credible communication of complex data to a sophisticated audience
