Job summary

Piper Companies in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a growing TA team supporting a biotechnology client. The role will partner with hiring managers to identify, attract, and engage top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

This role is hybrid 2-3 days per week in office. You will manage full-cycle recruitment for life sciences, quality, manufacturing, clinical, regulatory, and corporate functions, source

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HR, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or related field.
• Must have previous hands on recruiting experience.
• Life science/clinical research recruiting experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment activities for entry-level to mid-level positions in life sciences, quality, manufacturing, clinical, regulatory, and corporate functions.
• Source and screen candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking events, and university partnerships.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Draft and post job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
• Communicate regularly with candidates regarding application status and next steps.
• Support offer preparation, background checks, and onboarding activities.
