Cellphire Therapeutics, Inc. seeks an Accountant to manage general ledger, month-end close, government billing, and audit support in a growing biotech and government contracting environment.

You will partner with Operations, Clinical, Quality, and HR to ensure accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance with GAAP and government funding requirements. CPA progress is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting practices.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement prep.
• Familiarity with government contract accounting (FAR/DFARS, indirect cost tracking).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) and Excel.
• Experience preparing audits, tax filings, or regulatory reporting is a plus.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced biotech environment.
• CPA designation or progress toward certification preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities including journal entries and variance analysis.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with audit trail documentation.
• Assist with government contract accounting and cost tracking.
• Prepare accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.
• Support accounts payable and expense review for policy compliance and coding.
• Assist with cash management and forecasting, including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations, Clinical, Quality, and HR to ensure proper DCAA classification.
