Job summary

Gordian Biotechnology is hiring an Operations Associate to drive the recruiting funnel and strengthen its culture in South San Francisco. You will ensure smooth candidate progression from outreach to offer, while expanding sourcing, outreach, and recruiter screens.

As you ramp, you’ll own events that boost morale and connection and become fluent in Gordian’s tools and processes. Within weeks, you’ll master the recruiting process, scheduling, and candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or communications.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience coordinating calendars, travel plans, or onsite interview days.
• Event-planning instincts, including intent and impact.
• Experience at a startup with fewer than 50 people or in biotech.

Responsibilities

• Move candidates through a fast, coordinated recruiting funnel with high-touch screens.
• Own sourcing, outreach, and recruiter screens as you ramp.
• Plan and execute onboarding automation in Rippling and interview days.
• Build and manage an events calendar to strengthen morale and connection.
