Job summary

LatchBio in San Francisco is seeking a Production Manager to orchestrate scientific delivery across a growing team of scientists and engineers. You’ll ensure the right people join the right projects, and that all work ships on time and on budget.

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you’ll plan scope and timelines with sales and engineering, and help shape new projects that build on the team’s strengths. On-site role with a fast-paced, transparent culture and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• Must have biology lab or computational biology experience.
• Experience delivering scientific projects on schedule and within quality bars.
• Ability to match scientists to work based on expertise and growth areas.
• Ability to re-plan quickly when priorities shift.

Responsibilities

• Match people to projects and allocate scientists to tasks.
• Plan projects by gathering requirements and setting scope/timelines with sales and engineering.
• Own production and revenue by tracking output and costs and forecasting with finance.
• Shape scientific direction by identifying new projects that leverage team strengths.
