Latch Bio, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a highly resourceful Workplace, Community & Events Lead to craft the LatchBio experience across our office, remote setups, and events. You will own workplace operations, internal culture, and community initiatives, partnering with founders and the Ops Team.

You’ll design unforgettable experiences, manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and the Gather platform, and ensure the office and events reflect the company’s ambitious, people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Experience managing high-touch workplace operations and facilities.
• Proven ability to plan and execute internal events and external gatherings.
• Strong vendor negotiation and budget oversight skills.
• Comfortable owning timelines, logistics and vendor contracts.
• Experience building and nurturing community within a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day experience of the SF office, including facilities, supplies, and space planning.
• Produce team dinners, offsites, onboarding experiences, and company-wide gatherings.
• Plan and execute industry dinners, conferences, and community events.
• Manage the Gather platform, design spaces, and optimize room configurations.
• Develop thoughtful ways for employees across functions to connect and feel part of one company.
• Translate ideas into cohesive experiences, from venue selection to invitations and branding.
• Source and manage partners, track budgets, and negotiate contracts to avoid unnecessary expense.
• Build repeatable processes for office operations and community programming.
