LatchBio, Inc. is seeking an Operations Generalist in San Francisco to tackle high‑impact problems with the COO and Chief of Staff. You’ll own diverse tasks from hiring to contracts, with real ownership and fast learning in a high‑growth biotech software environment.

You will work closely with engineers, scientists, sales, and founders, handling ambiguity with structure and delivering results that move the company forward.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience; startup/consulting/banking backgrounds are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills; you’re dangerous in a spreadsheet.
• Excited about AI, biotech, or SaaS.
• Bias toward action and iteration over perfection.
• Genuinely enjoy this kind of work and bring personality to the team.

Responsibilities

• Figure out how to hire 60 engineers in 90 days, then help make it happen.
• Dig into the cloud bill and find six figures of savings.
• Build the financial model leadership uses to hire and spend.
• Learn to redline a customer contract and move deals.
• Stand up a system from scratch for vendor management, compliance, or office expansion.
• Drop into issues on fire this week and leave it better than found.
