Job summary

Moderna is hiring a Manufacturing Associate II to support Lipid Nanoparticle and Drug Product pilot-scale production at the Norwood, MA site. The role requires hands-on bioprocessing experience in a biotech setting, with a focus on accuracy, documentation, and safe work practices.

Successful candidates will lead processes once trained, support troubleshooting, and participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives within a fast-paced development environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in bioprocess development, technical problem solving, and technology transfer are essential.
• Hands-on experience with tangential flow filtration is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute Lipid Nanoparticle and Drug Product pilot-scale unit operations according to approved procedures.
• Prepare materials, buffers, equipment, and work areas for manufacturing execution.
• Practice Good Laboratory Practices and Good Documentation Practices with accurate material tracking.
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory and pilot-scale equipment; keep work areas safe and organized.
• Identify and communicate process, equipment, material, documentation, or safety issues with clear context.
• Support troubleshooting with accurate observations and process understanding.
• Contribute to onboarding, peer training, and continuous improvement activities.
