Job summary

BioMADE seeks a Maintenance & Logistics Planner in Hayward to translate preventive and corrective maintenance programs into executable daily work within the CMMS. You will coordinate with the Reliability Team Lead, on-site leadership, and contractors to minimize downtime while supporting startup and commissioning of the Hayward Pilot Plant.

The role is hands-on, aiding technicians and operators with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and parts management.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a technical, maintenance, or operations field or equivalent.
At least 5 years in maintenance planning, industrial maintenance, inventory, or logistics.
Experience using CMMS, ERP, or similar systems.
Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
Solid safety mindset and hands-on cross-functional work ability.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule preventive, corrective, calibration, and inspection work via CMMS.
Coordinate priorities with Reliability Lead, technicians, ops, and contractors to minimize downtime.
Review requests, perform field walkdowns, and create work plans with labor, parts, tools, and safety needs.
Maintain CMMS records: status, parts usage, and asset history; improve plans using feedback.
Coordinate facility maintenance (HVAC, lighting, inspections) and manage vendor relationships.
Track inventory in NetSuite; perform cycle counts and ensure materials availability.
Ensure safety procedures are followed, including permits and PPE; support startup/commissioning.
