Job summary

Biogen in Milwaukee is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Administrator III to support maintenance planning for site assets, including GMP equipment. You will develop and manage job plans, preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and CMMS records to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

The role collaborates with Manufacturing, I&C, Engineering, Labs and Site Services, providing CMMS expertise, training, and process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree preferred in Electronics, Database Systems or related.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience either in GMP environment or 4 years in maintenance planning and scheduling (or combination).
• Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling, preferably in maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Work order management and cross-functional collaboration; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and scheduling activities for Maintenance, Site Services, and I&C work.
• Create, revise, and maintain job plans, preventive maintenance plans, and material lists.
• Support asset onboarding, modification, retirement, and equipment data management within the CMMS.
• Generate, prioritize, and dispatch scheduled maintenance work orders.
• Review and release unscheduled work requests for execution.
• Coordinate pre-work preparation and job activity analysis to support efficient work execution.
• Serve as a CMMS subject matter expert, including user administration and training.
• Support SOP revisions, regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance activities.
• Support new equipment onboarding process.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in maintenance planning, work execution, and CMMS processes.
