Job summary

Air Liquide Advanced Materials in Fremont, CA seeks a Maintenance Planner to plan and schedule all maintenance work, ensure safety and compliance, and maintain a robust CMMS-driven program. You will build weekly schedules, coordinate shutdowns, andpartner with MRO to manage stock levels while delivering timely, accurate documentation.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and CMMS experience; a background in industrial gas operations is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 5+ years of Maintenance experience or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong spoken and written communication, internal & external customer service, and organizational skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of Google Office Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• CMMS experience with SAP, Maximo, or eMaint a plus; Microsoft Projects experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule all process and facility maintenance work with a focus on safety and first-time right execution.
• Generate weekly schedules, assign resources, and maintain a 2–4 week backlog target.
• Facilitate shutdown planning, coordination, and post-event reviews with plant stakeholders.
• Update PMs, forecast maintenance tasks, and report maintenance KPIs and safety metrics.
• Obtain quotations and process requisitions for facility and maintenance needs.
