Job summary

Capricor Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Paralegal to support the General Counsel with contract administration, corporate records, and legal operations. You will prioritize requests, route documents to reviewers, and assist with sensitive matters while maintaining confidentiality.

The role offers remote flexibility with a West Coast preference. The successful candidate will draft and redline NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs, manage DocuSign workflows, and maintain a robust contract repository.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing and drafting NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs in a high-volume environment.
• Degree in legal studies, business, or related field; paralegal certificate ABA-approved, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management, e-signature systems, and contract/document management.
• Knowledge of corporate records, litigation-hold procedures, and handling confidential information.
• Strong written and verbal communication and sound judgment.
• Highly organized with ability to manage high-volume requests and meet deadlines.
• Typically 3+ years of directly relevant experience.
• Comfortable in a supportive role under GC direction.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract intake and triage, track status, prioritize agreements for feedback.
• Prepare initial reviews, drafts, and redlines of NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs.
• Administer DocuSign workflows and maintain contract repository.
• Track renewals, expirations, milestones, and deliverables; flag attorney actions.
• Support litigation holds, document collection, and coordination with outside counsel.
• Maintain corporate records and assist with board materials.
• Serve as a point of contact for Regulatory, Clinical, Commercial, and Finance stakeholders.
• Conduct legal/corporate research and summarize findings for attorney review.
• Refine intake workflows, templates, trackers, and contract-management practices.
