Job summary

Protara Therapeutics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support the Legal & Compliance function focused on NMIBC and rare diseases. This role will provide broad legal and administrative support across contracting, regulatory, intellectual property, corporate governance, and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program preferred.
• 3–7 years of paralegal experience, preferably within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices, or a highly regulated industry.
• Experience supporting in-house legal departments strongly preferred.
• Experience with contract management systems and legal operations tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, review, and administration of NDAs and clinical trial agreements.
• Manage contract lifecycle, including intake, execution, filing, renewals, and reporting.
• Maintain contract management systems and ensure accessible records.
• Coordinate contract signatures through DocuSign.
