Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to manage daily network operations, troubleshoot Tier 1–2 issues, and support escalation processes. You will help ensure a stable, well-monitored global network and contribute to runbooks and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in network engineering, strong fundamentals, and hands-on experience with enterprise networks, monitoring tools, and ITSM platforms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in network engineering or operations
• Strong TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs knowledge
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs
• Familiarity with OSPF, BGP, IPsec, SD-WAN
• Experience with network monitoring and observability tools

Responsibilities

• Lead daily network operations and incident triage
• Troubleshoot Tier 1–2 issues and assist escalations
• Assist with change management and network upgrades
• Maintain network documentation and runbooks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident reviews
