Job summary

Moderna seeks a frontline Operations IT specialist to own day-to-day user support for manufacturing digital systems across our production network, ensuring GMP compliance and continuous improvement. You will triage incidents, coach users, and help keep production running smoothly.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, and IT, maintain runbooks, and contribute to change-control processes while supporting 24/7 operations and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Clear communication to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to support 24/7 operations on multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for shop-floor users; troubleshoot issues for Tempo, Syncade, DeltaV, Aveva SCADA, Aveva PI, and BMS.
• Troubleshoot across application, configuration, and basic infrastructure layers.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and IT to restore service quickly.
• Maintain and improve support knowledge (runbooks, KBs, SOPs).
• Execute standard change-control activities in alignment with GxP and data integrity.
• Monitor system health and propose CAPAs or improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support onboarding and training.
