Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manufacturing Senior Associate in New Albany, OH to lead on-floor manufacturing operations, ensuring cGMP compliance and smooth production flow. You will supervise technicians, oversee equipment, and drive continuous improvement with QA, Eng, and Mfg Support teams.

The role requires a background in biotech/pharma manufacturing, strong problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Life Sciences.
• Technical understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech packaging equipment and processes.
• Experience with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations on the production floor.
• Maintain machine uptime and clear stoppages on automated equipment.
• Ensure safety and compliance procedures are followed.
• Provide training to manufacturing staff on processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing Support to resolve events.
• Support Deviation Triage and CAPA processes.
