Job summary

Amgen SA is seeking a Manufacturing Senior Associate to lead the production floor activities for device assembly and packaging, ensuring cGMP compliance and timely production schedules. You will supervise technicians, optimize equipment performance, and drive continuous improvement across related processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, safety, and collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Regulatory staff to address manufacturing events and CAPA processes.

Qualifications

• Must have biotech/pharma manufacturing experience (4+ yrs for HS, 2 yrs for Associate, 6+ mos for Bachelor, Master’s degree may offset exp)
• Experience with cGMP and quality systems preferred
• Ability to lead and train manufacturing staff and develop procedures

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations on the production floor, including equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Maintain machine uptime and clear faults on automated equipment.
• Ensure safety and compliance procedures are followed at all times.
• Provide training to manufacturing staff on process and equipment.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing Support to resolve events.
