Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana in Indianapolis is seeking a Lab Technician IV to support the Biotech and Smart Manufacturing lab. You will assist students and faculty, maintain equipment, and run experiments in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in Industrial manufacturing or equivalent training preferred.
Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.
Hands-on testing will be conducted in electronics, PLCs, and robotics.

Responsibilities

Assist students and faculty in laboratory and projects.
Order, receive and check equipment and supplies; perform inventory control; perform minor repairs of lab equipment.
Provide lab support for classes held at 16 Tech and Glick Technology building; always ensure safety.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards are met.
Assist in the development and optimization of experimental protocols and procedures.
Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal.
Hands‑on testing will be conducted in electronics, PLCs, and robotics.
