Job summary

Yecuris Corporation, based in Tigard, Oregon, seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and cultivate customer relationships across biotech, pharma, and academia. The role requires a graduate degree in life sciences (MS/PhD preferred) and 3+ years in a commercial biotech/pharma role, with strong communication and leadership skills for cross-functional

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Life Science required; Ph.D. or M.S. preferred, or Bachelor’s with extensive relevant business experience/MBA.
• 3+ years of experience in a commercial role with biotech/pharma customers.
• Experience with in vivo experimentation or related areas preferred.
• Ability to present products to biotech/pharma scientists and academics.
• Self-driven team player with strong communication, leadership and motivation.
• Ability to coordinate handoffs with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close opportunities across biotech, pharma, and academic research institutions.
• Cultivate new leads via conferences, networking events, and online resources.
• Survey target companies by therapeutic area and mechanism of action relevant to products.
• Communicate opportunities internally and mentor others as team grows.
• Enter and maintain customer and lead data in a CRM.
• Deliver scientific presentations virtually and in person.
