Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/controller experience in biotech/life sciences.
• SOX/compliance familiarity; GAAP expertise; cost accounting and revenue recognition knowledge.
• ERP systems implementation/maintenance experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced Excel and BI tool proficiency; strong analytical and leadership skills.
• Experience in early- or growth-stage companies with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including general ledger, payables/receivables, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
• Lead month-end and year-end close; produce timely financial statements and reports for boards and lenders.
• Support payroll, cost accounting, pricing strategy, and key workstreams for growth.
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury controls.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls; coordinate audits.
• Develop and coach the finance team; drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Support regulatory reporting and strategic FP&A, forecasting, and pricing decisions.
• Lead ERP/financial systems initiatives; maintain chart of accounts and data integrity.
• Document policies and strengthen internal controls for scalable operations.
