Job summary

The role requires 10+ years in progressive accounting roles, CPA/CMA preferred, and hands-on experience with ERP systems. You will partner with manufacturing, R&D, and commercial teams to optimize cost control,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
10+ years of progressive accounting/controller experience; biotech or life sciences manufacturing experience incl. pass-through activities.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls; SOX/compliance experience.

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting operations: general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, intercompany.
Lead month-end and year-end close; produce timely, accurate financial statements and reports.
Oversee payroll, cost accounting, and pricing-related activities.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury controls; oversee banking relations.
Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls; coordinate audits.
Develop and coach the finance team; assign goals and provide guidance.
Support tax, statutory filings, and grant reporting as applicable.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Operations, and Commercial to optimize processes and profitability.
Lead ERP/financial systems initiatives; maintain chart of accounts and data integrity.
Develop scalable accounting policies and procedures; document processes.
