Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Associate for its Equity Research team in New York to support the lead analyst covering Biotech Services. You will contribute to research publications, financial models, and client engagement on a global scale.

Responsibilities include building models, drafting reports, coordinating events, and leveraging AI tools to enhance outputs. Strong communication and licensing requirements apply; hybrid work option available.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years of sell-side equity research experience in Biotech Services or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field.
• Ability to build and maintain complex financial models with solid accounting and valuation knowledge.
• Experience supporting senior analysts with research materials and client communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to translate complex finance into clear narratives.
• SIE, Series 63, 86, and 87 licenses either held or eligible within 180 days.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and update detailed financial models for Biotech Services to support investment ideas.
• Draft and co-author equity research publications for institutional clients.
• Respond to client inquiries with timely, informed perspectives on sector developments.
• Coordinate investor events and field meetings to deliver strong client experiences.
• Apply AI tools to enhance research workflows and data analysis efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performing research environment.
• Evaluate business and investment decisions, upholding research integrity and regulatory standards.
