Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an Equity Research Associate to support our Biotech coverage, contributing to high-quality investment insights that inform equity investors worldwide.

Based in a team known for independence, objectivity, and depth of analysis, you will help shape research output and client engagement. Responsibilities include building and updating financial models, producing earnings previews and initiation reports, and responding to client inquiries.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in equity research or related investment analysis.
• Strong grounding in accounting principles and financial modelling.
• Experience supporting senior analysts in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-source data validation.
• Active FINRA licenses or ability to obtain them.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support production of equity research publications including earnings previews and recaps, initiation reports, and thematic notes.
• Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for Biotech coverage.
• Handle client inquiries with timely, accurate analysis.
• Coordinate investor events and ensure strong client experience.
• Partner with lead analyst to translate data into actionable insights.
• Uphold compliance and ethical standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performance research culture.
