Job summary

Citi Research in New York seeks a Senior Associate for LifeSciences/Tools to cover industry and company stock analyses. You will analyze earnings, regulatory filings and market events, maintain models, perform detailed valuations, and craft research notes for internal and external clients.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality research, presenting to clients, and coordinating investor meetings while ensuring compliance and risk controls across Citi’s platforms.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years previous experience.
• MBA or graduate degree and/or CFA preferred.
• Must have SIE, Series 63, 86, & 87 or obtain within 180 days.
• Experience in Life Sciences Research.
• Good knowledge of accounting and modelling with a credit focus.
• Experience in supporting senior credit research analysts.
• Excellent inter-personal and writing skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Secure and maintain applicable licenses.

Responsibilities

• Industry analysis and company-specific stock coverage.
• Analyze earnings releases and regulatory filings.
• Update and maintain quantitative models; perform valuation work.
• Write research notes and sector pieces; speak to internal/external clients.
• Host investor meetings and conference calls with experts and management teams.
• Coordinate investor meetings and field trips; manage inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and risk controls.
