Job summary

Citi's Equity Research team in New York is seeking an Equity Research Associate to support a biotech analyst, delivering high-quality investment insights that inform global investors. You will contribute to publications, client engagement, and rigorous analysis within a respected, independent research culture.

Based in a hybrid work model, you will build financial models, respond to client inquiries, coordinate investor events, and mentor juniors while upholding Citi's standards of conduct.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of equity research or related analysis.
• Strong accounting and financial modelling in equity context.
• Experience supporting senior analysts in client-facing setting.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication.
• Attention to detail with multi-source data.
• FINRA SIE, Series 63, 86, 87 or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support production of equity research publications (earnings previews, initiation reports, thematic notes).
• Build and maintain financial models for Biotech companies; develop valuation frameworks.
• Respond to client inquiries with timely, accurate analysis.
• Coordinate investor events with meetings, field trips, calls; ensure strong client experience.
• Partner with lead analyst to develop ideas and translate data into insights.
• Assess reputational and regulatory implications; uphold Citi standards.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
