Job summary

Locus Biosciences is seeking a highly motivated entry-level candidate for a 2-year rotational program that will move between CMC and R&D. The role provides exposure to early-stage drug development through manufacturing, with a focus on learning across wet lab and manufacturing environments and contributing to ongoing projects.

Ideal candidates will have lab or manufacturing experience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills, with preference for experience in GDP/GLP or cGMP settings.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic laboratory techniques (pipetting, sterile technique, data recording).
• Strong communication and ability to document results clearly.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a regulated R&D environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation development and bench-scale process development activities.
• Set up and operate bioreactors, filtration trains, and chromatography equipment for development.
• Develop analytical strategies to support formulation & process development.
• Create automated workflows for molecular biology and microbiology assays, including NGS prep and high-throughput screening.
