Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a remote-based Business Development professional (Pharma Services) to drive new opportunities in Clinical Supply for a biotech client base. This hybrid role combines prospecting with early-stage account management across the West Coast, with ~25% travel.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) and 3–5 years in pharmaceutical/biotech settings, plus proven Salesforce CRM experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years in pharma/biotech industry.
• Experience in pharma/biotech/CDMO environments.
• Strong prospecting and sales skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and qualify opportunities with biotech companies needing Clinical Supply services.
• Engage potential clients with targeted outreach and messaging to highlight PSG value.
• Collaborate with AEs and SMEs to evaluate opportunities and prepare account intel.
• Coordinate establishment of CDAs with new clients.
• Support internal setup of new accounts from commercial and financial perspectives.
• Serve as the primary commercial contact for a small portfolio of biotech accounts.
• Gather information to submit RFPs through Salesforce.
• Leverage BI platforms and internal tools to advance new opportunities.
