Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an Executive Director of Business Development in the North East, US to lead territory sales strategy and execution. You will collaborate with senior leadership to shape account plans, optimize territory performance, and drive revenue growth, while coaching Business Development Directors and nurturing client relationships.

Key duties include hiring and developing diverse talent, forecasting goals, and managing budgets while expanding market opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales experience selling services to pharmaceutical/biotech.

Responsibilities

• Directs territory sales strategy and execution with senior leadership.
• Leads, develops and coaches Business Development Directors.
• Hires and develops talent for open or new territories.
• Assigns accounts, territories and forecasts individual territory sales goals.
• Delivers order goals for the territory.
• Facilitates negotiation of margins and pricing discussions.
