Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies seeks an executive Head of Business Development for Commercial Process Development to drive growth by securing high-impact partnerships. You will shape market strategy, open new territories, and align operations to accelerate early-phase programs from development through Phase 2.

You will lead a team, collaborate with legal, operations, and demand planning, and manage key stakeholder relationships across global biopharma partners.

• 12+ years of experience in business development with extensive strategic planning.
• 8+ years of experience managing a sales team.
• Experience setting sales targets and driving growth.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Strategic, proactive, and able to influence senior leaders across global organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and secure new CDMO business opportunities for FUJIFILM Biotechnologies.
• Conduct market research with market intelligence teams to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop territory expansion plans aligned with global objectives.
• Keep systems up to date and provide insights to Executive Leadership.
• Represent FUJIFILM Biotechnologies and develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
• Attend conferences and tradeshows to build brand and pipeline.
• Manage scope and contractual compliance in negotiations.
• Provide customer feedback to internal teams.
• Collaborate with legal and commercial solution teams to meet business needs.
• Work with sales, product, and marketing teams on cohesive strategies.
• Collaborate with demand planners to align site needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
