Qualifications

• MS with 10+ years of relevant experience in biology or bioengineering.
• Experience developing preclinical in vitro models.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent scientific communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Biosystems Branch.
• Define the technology roadmap for NAMs including organ-on-chip platforms.
• Lead multidisciplinary R&D programs and manage milestones and risk.
• Identify new business opportunities and support proposals.
• Mentor personnel and guide technology maturation and transition.
