• PhD with 3+ years in applied mathematics, computational science, physics, or engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to develop mathematical/computational models and simulations for complex systems.
• Strong background in numerical analysis and differential equations; experience with solvers.
• Proficiency in C++ for scientific computing and collaboration within a large codebase.
• Ability to work independently and communicate results effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop, extend, and maintain solvers within in-house C++ multiphysics platform.
• Model and simulate biological systems across high-resolution, multiscale scenarios.
• Formulate mathematical models for complex processes.
• Implement and validate models using numerical methods and algorithms.
• Collaborate with experimental scientists to integrate data with models.
• Develop HPC solutions and optimize code for performance.
• Document methodologies, code, and results; maintain reproducibility.
• Contribute to reports, proposals, and publications.
