Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a senior data analytics professional to develop and deploy advanced data analysis methods across multiple projects. You will act as the primary data usage contact, guiding partners on performance improvements and maturity options while building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and dashboards.

The role requires strong SQL Server skills, Databricks experience, and proficiency in Python or R for ML workflows, with hands-on Power BI delivery and Power Apps/Automate integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server/SQL/T-SQL and data querying basics.
• Proficient with Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark preferred).
• Proficient in Python or R for data analysis and ML workflows.
• Experience building visual analytics with Power BI including DAX basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Serve as point of contact for data usage across projects and guide partners on performance improvements.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights for operations and project data.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks (Spark/PySpark).
• Create and maintain documentation and artifacts for analytical processes.
• Develop dashboards and analytics products using Power BI with semantic models and measures.
• Support Power Apps and Power Automate integrations for workflows.
• Prepare and analyze unstructured data for text and language-focused use cases.
• Demonstrate familiarity with LLMs and agent concepts for senior team output.
