Job summary

Kelly Government Solutions, in partnership with NIH, seeks a Biospecimen Laboratory Technician to support NHLBI research. You will prepare, process, store, and QC biospecimens from blood, tissue, DNA, and RNA, ensuring sample integrity through precise centrifugation, cryopreservation, and accessioning.

You will operate laboratory equipment per SOPs, manage LIMS data, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure on-time collection and delivery of specimens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in biobank, clinical, or research setting.
• Strong data entry skills and familiarity with LIMS systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, store, distribute, and QC biospecimens for NHLBI research.
• Centrifugation, aliquoting, cryopreservation, and accessioning per SOPs.
• Operate centrifuges, freezers, and automated systems; perform maintenance.
• Enter and verify sample data in LIMS; manage inventory and deviations.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to collect and deliver specimens on time.
