Job summary

POET Maintenance Technician position at the Chancellor, SD bioprocessing facility. Responsible for safe and efficient repair, preventative maintenance, and cleaning of all plant equipment. Duties include troubleshooting, operating DCS/SCADA systems, water filtration, welding, and fabrication as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in fabrication, welding, and component repair.
• Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatic systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment to minimize downtime.
• Repair and troubleshoot pumps, gearboxes, valves, and electrical components.
• Operate, calibrate, and monitor DCS/SCADA and water treatment systems.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and document tasks in Maximo.
• Train junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives.
