Job summary

Kinetic Personnel Group is seeking a dependable Receiving Clerk for a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in California. The role involves receiving, inspecting, documenting, and organizing incoming materials while ensuring accuracy and compliance with SOPs and GMP.

Overtime may be required to support operations. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and capable of working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous receiving, warehouse, inventory, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, Outlook, Word) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong time management.
• Effective communication and ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Willingness to learn new processes and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentation.
• Accurately enter and update receiving information in computerized inventory management systems.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of incoming materials, inventory, and shipments.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damaged materials, or incorrect shipments.
• Label, organize, and store materials according to company procedures.
• Work closely with warehouse, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure materials are received and processed efficiently.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company safety guidelines.
• Assist with inventory counts, material tracking, and general warehouse operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work overtime when necessary to meet operational demands.
