Job summary

AstraZeneca plc in Frederick is hiring Production Technicians I–III for a 12-hour rotating day shift (6 AM–6:30 PM). You will operate downstream processing equipment, perform solution prep, purification, and formulation, and support cGMP documentation and MES usage.

The role offers growth from Tech I to Tech III with increasing experience. Training is provided, and the team emphasizes safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced biopharma setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with cGMP standards and ability to follow SOPs.
• Ability to work independently or in teams and use basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn and operate processing equipment and MES systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment per SOPs, MPRs, SPRs and cGMPs.
• Prepare solutions, perform purification and formulation as needed.
• Receive training with a qualified technician on equipment operation.
• Follow cGMP documentation and use MES for data entry and logs.
• Contribute to problem-solving on the production floor and participate in continuous improvement.
