Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a Process Mechanic for our Frederick Manufacturing Center in Maryland. You will maintain and optimize essential process equipment, including bioreactors, purification skids, and autoclaves, performing valve rebuilds, pump repairs, and related mechanical tasks.

• 3-5 years experience in a relevant field
• HS diploma, technical school, or military training and experience in relevant field

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance on process equipment including bioreactors, centrifuges, purification skids and columns, glasswashers and autoclaves.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Lodge accurate GxP documentation and work in a clean room environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
