Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician for 12-hour rotating shifts (7am–7pm, 2-week rotation, 14 days on shift) to perform bulk manufacturing tasks in aseptic and non-aseptic environments.

Responsibilities include cleaning, setup/breakdown of single-use materials, material weighing, equipment monitoring, sample handling, and documentation per cGMP. The role requires basic qualifications with GMP experience and strong attention to detail, plus the ability to work in a team or

Qualifications

• High school/GED plus 1 year of Manufacturing or Operations work or military experience, OR an Associate's degree.
• Experience in a GMP/ regulated environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GMP principles.
• Drug substance manufacturing experience.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to stay focused during repetitious tasks.
• Ability to assemble, disassemble, operate and understand equipment per procedures.
• Basic understanding of measurements and the metric system.
• Ability to work well individually and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Equipment and parts cleaning using manual and automated methods.
• Set up and breakdown of single-use materials.
• Weigh and dispense of raw materials.
• Operate and monitor clean systems, autoclaves, and processing equipment.
• Sample collection, processing, storage and delivery.
• Product and component reconciliation.
• Solution preparation and transfer.
• Materials handling and power equipment operation.
• Adhere to cGMP and complete process documentation.
