Job summary

IDEMIA Public Security is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide nationwide field support for TSA-CAT and other federal identity systems. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software at customer locations, ensuring system availability and compliance with SLAs.

The role involves extensive travel (up to 75%+), on-site and remote support, and coordination with program management, engineering, logistics, and customers.

Qualifications

Associate degree in IT, electronics, CS or related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years in field service, desktop support, system installation or hardware maintenance.
Customer-facing experience and ability to travel extensively.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, test, and deploy identity systems at customer sites.
Diagnose hardware/software/network issues via remote and on-site support.
Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades per SLAs.
Train customer personnel and maintain service documentation.
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate RMAs.
Escalate complex issues to engineering and work with cross-functional teams.
