Job summary

Ball State University invites applications for a full‑time Biomedical Program Coordinator in the Department of Biology. The role provides administrative support to the Directors of the Masters, PhD, and Biomedical Sciences Programs and helps manage communications, events, and student tracking.

Hybrid work is possible. The position requires an associate degree in biology or biomedical sciences and at least one year of office administrative experience; a bachelor's in biology is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Biology or biomedical science or equivalent.
  • At least one year of office administrative/secretarial experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the Directors of the Masters, PhD, and Biomedical Sciences Programs.
  • Manage communications and respond to program inquiries.
  • Track applications and student progress through university systems (e.g., Stellic).
  • Assist with event planning and organization of orientation and seminars.
