Job summary

Harvard University is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Biomedical Science Careers Program (BSCP) to support students across races and backgrounds with guidance for biomedical careers. Based in the OCCE, you will manage end-to-end programs, coordinate events, and track outcomes.

You will work with the BSCP management team, report to the Assistant Director of Operations and Programming, and help expand attendance while coordinating workshops, conferences, and virtual programming.

Qualifications

• 4 or more years of experience; higher education may count.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail in planning and program implementation.
• Commitment to the STEM field and the OCCE mission.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping timelines and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and troubleshoot challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end student support and travel fund programs, including eligibility verification, design, review committee coordination, recipient communications, disbursement, and reporting.
• Oversee production of program collateral, books, and guides.
• Oversee materials and resources for BSCP programs and website dissemination.
• Update and manage timelines for conferences and programs; plan annual calendar with AD.
• Collaborate to increase attendance at conferences/programs.
• Support execution of conferences/workshops/symposia/virtual programming and coordinate speakers and mentors.
• Create, administer, and analyze program evaluations and surveys and coordinate post-event activities.
• Utilize and maintain the Salesforce database with the Senior database coordinator.
• Update student records, resolve data errors, and pull reports as needed.
