Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• At least one year in a graduate biomedical education program.
• Several years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork, and success on standardized tests.
• Ability to help students improve biomedicine understanding and study skills.
• Awareness of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Offers in-person and online follow up and review sessions for students.
• Develops and delivers online instructional sessions for in-person and online students.
• Holds office hours for individual and small group help sessions.
• Advises students on progress, study methods, and career goals.
• Assists with event planning and logistics for the program.
• Provides logistic support for invited speakers, recruiters, and visitors.
• May carry a teaching load.
• Provides classroom and online technical and teaching support for instructors.
• Prepares course materials as requested; helps prepare, edit, and grade exams.
• Logistic support for room reservations and IT equipment.
• Student academic record management and tracking.
• Participates in recruiting events locally and nationally.
• Performs other program related activities as assigned by the Director.
